MECHWARRIOR 2: MERCENARIES

 

The sequel to Mechwarrior 2, I was appalled once I bought it. It was much weaker than I had hoped. Here are some of the weak points.

  1. Cannot upgrade and downgrade engines on 'Mechs without downloading patch.

  2. Instant action missions are weak, and enemy targets are limited.

  3. Overly graphic, often causing extremely slow game-play.

  4. Salvage is limited, even with patch.

  5. 'Mechlab is often buggy.

 

It's an OK game. I also have several created 'Mechs, including a version of the Arctic Fox.
